This is just going to be a short post, which I’m sure none of will mind.
Lately, I’ve been wanting to cuddle up with a blanket and a pillow and watch an old film.
My Grandma sent me a film for Christmas called “Camelot”
I haven’t finished it yet, though. I haven’t even finished “Excalibur” and she sent that to me in late 2011.
It’s amazing because I love King Arthur stories. Always have. She also sent me “A Tale of Two Cities”, the film. Couldn’t get through it. It’s not that I’ve lost interest in these topics, I’ve just been having trouble sitting through them.
Exhausted as I am today, I can’t really think of a topic to write about and when I do, my mind isn’t all that much up for the challenge of writing more stuff about it. So I clicked “Inspire Me”. This is what I got:
What was the one experience that completely changed your life? What happened? How did it change your life?
Well, everything we do changes everything, much like a butterfly effect, but completely changed my life? I suppose one such Continue reading
I am not big on socialising. Living with 10 people means that I have to socialise, however, at least in some way, every day. And living with 10 people means that I have developed pretty good social skills. But, that doesn’t mean I like to talk to people. Or, rather, that I would prefer not to most of the time. Sometimes I enjoy it and I’ve even been known to crave someone to talk to. But, in Continue reading
Okay, I’ll admit it: I’m one of those people who searches the Internet for cat videos and cute pictures of cats. Needless to say, I’m a cat person. Weird, that. I am, of course referring to the saying “Needless to say”, which is a common enough expression but it’s followed by the thing that doesn’t need to be said. It’s kind of like saying, “No offence,” before and/or after insulting someone and offending them. Continue reading
So, I’ve just finished watching The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It’s the second in the set of The Hunger Games series and, no spoilers here, but it was AMAZING! You should definitely check it out if you haven’t already and if you’re interested in the books, I find them to be page-turners and, maybe a little unfortunately, really easy to read. When I say ‘unfortunate’, I mean because I Continue reading
I had a terrible dream last night. I thought I’d share it with you all today but I’ve changed my mind. I don’t want to re-read this at any time and have to remember it all over again. It went on for what felt like 7 hours but I’d only slept for 2, giving me a total of just over 3 hours of sleep in the last 2 days. I’m still deciding if I want to wait until tonight to sleep or sleep during the day, like usual. Continue reading
This is an excerpt of what I suppose my mother’s life was like in late 2008.
This is for the “Weekly Writing Challenge: Leave Your Shoes At The Door”where I have written in the perspective of my mother. Continue reading
I’ve just recently been fired. But, hey! It’s the dawn of a new day. No, really. It’s actually dawn.
What am I doing? I haven’t even gone to sleep yet. This is a familiar pattern, staying up a little too late, extinguishing cigarette after cigarette, getting really thirsty but too afraid to leave the Continue reading
This Is Me
I’m just starting up a blog now to try it see if I like it. The kind of blogs I like reading are the ones about peoples’ everyday affairs, just general stuff. What they feel, what they do, how they live. So. Continue reading
